Those iconic words were those of one of Kennis Music‘s biggest stars, Azadus, on his hit song “Madam“. He would later fade into obscurity but not before ruling our airwaves for most of the late 90s and early 2000s with other hits like “You Is The One” and “Don’t You Cry“.
Two days ago, Twitter user @KingWole shared a cover of Azadus’ album and after the wave of nostalgia wore off, everyone began to notice something hilarious at the bottom corner: how the rapper came up with his peculiar stage name.
While you would have been forgiven for assuming his name was gotten from a person with h-factor enthusiastically pronouncing “Hazardous”, the origin is actually a lot funnier (and unintentionally so). It’s an acronym for A. Zealous. And. Determined. Unbowed. Soldier.
