Give me some background
Recall that we reported that 21,780 out of 33,000 primary school teachers failed a Primary Four level competency by the State government.
And so?
The El-Rufai led government of the announced that it’ll be retiring and/or sacking those who failed the test as the cost and effort to train/retrain those teachers does not justify the effort. It says previous effort at retraining had not worked.
The government of Kaduna State Decries Use Of Pupils For Protest.
But the teachers were not buying the idea and threatened an industrial strike with the support of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC
But the government is not shaking. So the lawyers are gonna be making some fast (and fat) bucks out of the whole saga.
And now?
A WhatsApp message ostensibly sent by the PRO of the State’s NUT has surfaced on the internet. Which kinda make everyone wonder whether it was a prank or for real. The gist of the message, from what we can make of it, is an update to members on their impending court case coming up on November 30th, 2017. We can’t reproduce the whole message but have included a screenshot of the message as was tweeted by Twitter use @AHayatu.

I pity the kids
If this is an example of the teachers’ competence they should hide their face in shame.
I’m rarely a fan of government but I’m pro-Kaduna gov in this case.
