Ake Festival Update: All Female Music Concert.

The Ake festival this year has been themed “This f-word” and many have said the f-word is clearly feminism as every of the exhibition of talent so far has been women and most likely all through as well.

The music concert that held on November 15 (Wednesday) was as inspirational to everyone, especially women, as it was entertaining.

Queen Salawa Abeni whose genre of Waka music is indigenous and well traveled wowed the crowd as she brought back the groove of the late 1990s and popped the place with her style.

Also on the stage was Aramide, who has described her style as Afro-soul as she gave power song performance that was given an edge with her strong voice.

Then was Celeste, playing her guitar and holding the crowd enchanted.
