Human trafficking: Charly Boy, Deji Adeyanju, others sit out outside the Libyan Embassy in Abuja to protest against the ongoing slave trade in Libya


A group of concerned in collaboration with selected non-governmental organisation are calling attention to the reported ongoing slave trade in LibyaStart

 

The groups comprising of notable Nigeria activists such as Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy, Deji Adeyanju amongst others are at the Libyan Embassy in Abuja to demand a stop to the inhuman practice.

 

Tweeting about the inhuman practice, Adeyanju says:

What is happening in Libya is horrendous. How can Africans be enslaving and dehumanizing fellow Africans? Have we lost our humanity on this continent? Leaders at all levels must address issues that have brought us to this point.”

He also enjoined Nigerians to join in the protest outside the Libyan Embassy. He says:

Please if you are in Abuja, you can join us at Libya Embassy: Roseline Ukeje close, Kyari Muhammad crescent off justice Sowemimo, Asokoro by 9 am this morning as we say NO TO Slave trading of Nigerians in that country.”

The activist also shared an image of the protesters outside the Libyan Embassy. From the image,
