And one drawing that has elicited a lot of talking among football fans is that of Nigeria – Argentina match, historically an entertaining match. Even FIFA described it on its website as the “the most played World Cup fixture from the draw.”
So when Arsenal chirped in their opinion, we were not surprised!
The English Premier League side made their feelings known via their official Twitter account.
“@NGSuperEagles take on @Argentina in the @FIFAWorldCup on June 26 When they met in a friendly last month, #BIG17 scored twice,” the Tweet says, in reference to Arsenal star and Nigeria International Alex Iwobi who scored twice during the friendly game.
Nigeria and Argentina are drawn in Group D together with Croatia and Iceland.
