164 more Nigerian migrants return from Libya

They migrants arrived at the Murtala Mohammed Airport Lagos and were received by the Senior Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mrs Abike Dabiri and officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) amongst others.

Among the returnees were 158 males and 6 females.

Another batch of 164 Nigerians returned from Libya on the 8th of December by 12:45am. The return was facilitated by the IOM and they were received by a joint team of NCFRMI officials and other government agencies including the NEMA and NAPTIP. #Migrants #Libya cc @NikkiLaoye

Their return comes after others have returned after news of slave trading of Africans in the North African country drew global criticism, with several leaders, authorities, as well as citizens condemning it.
