Some officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) were allegedly arrested this morning at the popular Berger bus stop in Lagos.
The news hit the social media when a Twitter user @poojamedia tweeted the incident, along with some photos.
“Happening now at Berger. Men of SARS being arrested by some policemen. One of the SARS men ran with his gun to take cover (couldn’t capture that),” the tweet says.
A second tweet from the user says those who witnessed the event told that the location is a hub for extortion by officers of SARS. The tweet:
“According to a conversation at the incident, the SARS men have turned the Berger junction to a bank, collecting money & harass good looking guys either walking or in a car.
