22 doctors in India separate Nigerian conjoined twins

Nigerian conjoined twins delivered at a Lagos hospital on the 8th of May 2017, have undergone a successful surgery in Bangalore, India, according to reports.

Obinna and Amarachi Ugwuoke, who already had two children, were shocked on seeing their twin babies, James and John, shortly after delivery – they were fused at the stomach.

The twins were subsequently flown to India, where they were successfully separated, after a marathon operation that involved 22 specialists.

Doctors says they can now live independent lives.

What happy news! Congratulations to the doctors and to the family as well.
