Today, we’ll be describing the banana oatmeal pancake recipe, which includes quite a number of belly fat burning foods including oatmeal, banana, olive oil and egg. A healthy breakfast, packed with nutrition and a kicker for burning those annoying belly fat. What is there not to like about it? But remember, moderation is very key and it helps if you have a nutrition plan to guide you in your quest of acquiring or maintaining a trim belly.

So, how do you go about preparing banana oatmeal pancakes?

For this pancake recipe, you’d need the following ingredients:

1/2 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup cooking oats

1 medium-size banana

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg

These can comfortably serve two-three people for breakfast.

 

Directions

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

1. Mash banana in a plate with fork.

2. Place flour, oats, mashed banana, baking powder, salt, buttermilk, oil and egg in a food processor and puree until smooth.

3.  Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat.

4. Pour a scoop of the batter onto the pan using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

5. Repeat step 4 until the batter is exhausted.

Serve with maple syrup or honey and some slices of banana.

Basically, the banana oatmeal pancake meal contains about 671 calories, which is about 1/3rd of the average daily calorie requirement assuming it were consumed by a single adult. According to the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, women are likely to need between 1,600 and 2,400 calories a day, and men from 2,000 to 3,000. However, this recommendation is dependent on age, size, height, lifestyle, overall health, and level of physical activity.
