Okey Bakassi to celebrate 25 years in comedy with a show
Come April, 22, actor and comedian Okey Bakassi will be holding a comedy show in Lagos to celebrate his 25 years as a comedian.

The comedian revealed this at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) dinner which held on Saturday at the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Speaking at the event, fellow comedian Ali Baba, who introduced Okey, told the audience that the comedian has spent over 25 years in the humour business.

For real, we’ve been doing this for over 25 years,” Okey tells the audience after he grabbed the mic, referring to his work as a comedian.

For one minute, I was wishing that my name would be on that list and maybe I would consider changing my name from Okey Bakassi to Okey NIMASA. And who knows, by the next one when I would be 26, there would be a category for 26 and I would be part of it.

But since I didn’t’ make your list, I’ve decided that on the 22nd of April, this same hall, I would gather all of you. The ticket would be my own award.”
