In a statement released on his Instagram page, Ubi shared that Tekno’s vocal box is temporarily damaged and he is taking a rest.
Ubi Franklin wrote that further diagnoses had doctors recommend that the singer take time off to recover, adding that the singer’s fans should send their love and prayers to him.
At the beginning of the month, the singer had cancelled an impending show and revealed that he was treating an illness, although he did not mention the nature of the illness.
