DJ Cuppy continued her musical exploration when she teamed up with three talented West African artists, Kwesi Arthur, Shaydee & Ceeza Milli, on her massive tune “Abena”, which she released on the 19th of April 2019.
“Abena” was released after her Afrobeats hit “Green Light” featuring Tekno. The lustrous Afro-love jam was a hit in the clubs, DJ sets, and a favourite with Cuppy fans.
DJ Cuppy is gradually becoming the one female name that can be mentioned in a conversation of DJs across Nigeria and even makes quite a case for herself on the continent.
“Abena” was also her first single of 2019.
