The theme for the is year’s festival is Fantastical Future’. It was announced that the festival has been moved from its previous location of Kuto, Abeokuta to Lagos state. The date has also changed as it will now be holding from the 24th to 27th of October, 2018 instead of in November as is customary.

Ake Books and Arts Festival is a yearly festival which attracts authors from around the world to partake in a three day celebration of all things books and arts. Featuring writing courses, drama, poetry, book chats and music, it is an artist’s paradise.
