Very little information is available as to how exactly the unfortunate incident took place, however, Instablog reports that the one-year old’s remains have been moved to a morgue at GRA Ikeja.
D’banj, who is said to be currently in the US, gave a form of confirmation via a tweet where he says that God is “forever faithful” in his trying times:
Daniel had just turned one in May. His death will be greatly felt by friends and family. Our hearts are with them.
What a terrible thing to happen. May God comfort them at this time.
