Emotional Lolo 1 leaves Wazobia FM amidst good will from staff

Wazobia FM’s show host of Oga Madam, Omotunde Adebowale David, popularly known as Lolo 1 is taking a bow after 12 years on radio.

The award-winning 42-year-old presenter, who is grateful for the opportunity given her, will be greatly missed by fans, friends and colleagues.

In her farewell speech, which she also shared on Instagram, the beloved presenter says she’s moving unto other things but will remain a friend of the house.

According to Lolo 1, “she was born in Wazobia” and the radio station will always be dear to her.

A tearful Lolo 1 also called on Wazobia staff to support her successor, Omotunde, who she says she has trained to replace her. She also expressed a wish for her successor to accomplish even more that she herself had, quoting a biblical verse, “the glory of the latter shall be bigger than the former.

Lolo 1 is also popular for her role in Funke Akindele’s popular series, Jenifa’s Diary, where she played the character of Adaku, a food lover.
