Seun Kuti bags Grammy nomination | See the full nominee list

The nominees for the 61st Grammy awards have been announced on Friday, seventh of December.

Seun Kuti, who put out his album for consideration when the nominees were been decided upon has been nominated in the Best World Music category.

Leading the nominations this year is Kendrick Lamar who bagged eight nominations. Closely following him is Drake with seven nominations.

The awards show is scheduled to hold on the 10th of February at the Staples center in Los Angeles.
