Mary shared an experience she witnessed on set and used the story to shed light on sexual assault. According to her, while she was on set, a female producer who was wearing leggings with her camel toe protruding was standing beside her and a prominent male producer walked past and said in pidgin: “I dey see your v*gina, if I hol am ehn, I go F**k am tire”
Mary went ahead to say she was deeply offended by the man’s statement towards the woman and as she was about to say something, the woman who was being harassed told her not to mind the producer, adding that he talks a lot of rubbish. Mary concluded by asking Nigerians if that wasn’t sexual harassment or whether it is an acceptable norm everywhere.
