The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced fourteen new cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria, which was recorded in Lagos and Delta state.
The NCDC said that 13 of the new cases were confirmed in Lagos, one in Delta state, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 288 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 51 patients have been discharged with seven deaths.
“Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 13 in Lagos and 1 in Delta State As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths,” the NCDC writes on their official Twitter handle.

Amongst all states affected by the virus in Nigeria, Lagos is by far the worst-hit with about 158 cases and the Federal Capital Territory follow but far behind with 54 cases.
