AJ successfully defended his title against Carlos Takam as both boxers thrilled the spectators with furious fighting skills and showed top endurance. The referee however had to stop the match in 10th round after Takam (though still on his feet) looked like he was a goner receiving punches and not returning them. The win takes Joshua up to his 20th win with knockouts.

 

Manchester City Dump Sanchez Pursuit.

A deal had almost been made between Man City and the Chilean during the Summer transfer window but it wasn’t seen through and now the Etihad club may have lost their interest in the forward and given up on his chase as Everton begins to show interest.

 

England U-17 Wins World Cup.

The English young team came from a two goal deficit to win runners-up Spain 5-2. Two of the players in the team were awarded tournament titles with striker Rhian Brewster winning the golden ball and Philip Foden (who scored twice in the final) winning the golden ball.

 

Hamilton Comes Third In MExico Grand Prix As Vettel Leads The Pole.

Although Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is still on course to win the world title as he leads his closest rival with 66 points. Sebastian Vettel however, lead the pole after the Mexico Grand Prix in a show of expertise and grit.

 

Bayern Munich Tops Bundesliga Standings.

After a rocky start that saw the club sack former coach Carlo Ancelotti, the Bavarians are now leading the table proceedings with three points after they beat RB Leipzig 2-0 and second placed Dortmund lost to Hannover 96.

 

Manchester United Topples Tottenham.

The form of the Spurs had been in doubt after they lost to West Ham during the week in the Carabao cup, and they showed that they had not adapted to the loss of Kane as they lacked an edge in front of United’s goal during the match. Manchester United could not have been said to fair better but they got the much needed goal to see off the Wembley landlords courtesy of substitute Anthony Martial.

 

Barcelona Extend Unbeaten Run With Valencia Hot Behind.

The duo of Messi and Paulinho handed the Catalonia club a 2-0 win against an inspired Athletic Bilbao outfit that gave their all but could not find their way around an equally determined Ter Stegen. Valencia keep on chasing the leaders after the beat Alaves 2-1.

 

Manchester City Are Unstopped.

Guardiola himself was nearly lost for words to describe the fairytale start the team maintained again this weekend after they beat West Brom 3-2. Sterling and Leroy Sane got on the score sheet.

 

Liverpool To Sell Coutinho.

There are rumors that Liverpool will sell the Brazil midfielder in the January transfer window but have promised manager Jurgen Klopp to provide money for him to buy any player of his choosing to replace him.

Messi Could Play For Catalonia.

Reports have shown that if the football governing body chooses to recognize Catalonia as a separate country and Lionel Messi switches allegiance, he could be granted permission to play for them. But that is most unlikely considering he had the option to play for Spain but chose Argentina instead.
