Davido and Chioma have welcomed their first child together, a son they have named David Adedeji Ifeanyi Adeleke Jr.
He was born today in a London hospital.
Davido shared the exciting news on his Instagram. The artist uploaded a photo of himself smiling at the swaddled baby in his arms. He captions the photo: “Omoba ti de!!! David Adedeji Ifeanyi Adeleke Jr! The prince is here!!!! 20 – 10 – 2019! Love you, my strong wife, @thechefchi I love you!”

While the birth of David Adedeji Ifeanyi Adeleke Jr is the third time Davido is becoming a father, the newborn is Chioma’s first child. Davido has two daughters from previous relationships. The couple did not formally announce Chioma’s pregnancy but it became obvious she was pregnant from the photo Davido shared following his proposal to Chioma. Furthermore, Davido several times refers to the baby in some of his posts, like when he signed an endorsement with Mario and Juliet baby products. At the time, Davido had claimed that deal made his then-unborn baby, whom he fondly referred to as OBO Jr, a millionnaire.
Meanwhile, both fans and celebrities have been offering congratulations to the happy father. And at the time of writing, Davido’s post has received over a million likes.
