The baseball legend opened up during an interview with Sports Illustrated. Speaking to the magazine for its Where Are They Now? issue, the 43-year-old who is engaged to Jennifer Lopez, shared some details about his experience at the 2019 Met Gala, including his private conversation with Kylie Jenner.
A-Rod recalled sitting at a table with A-list celebs such as Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Donatella Versace, Idris Elba and wife Sabrina Dhowre.
“We had a great table,” he tells the publication.
“We had Kylie and Kendall. And we had an Asian gentleman from Rich Asians, the lead. Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is.”
However, Kylie said A-Rod wasn’t telling the truth.
She said on Twitter after A-Rod’s interview made headlines: “Umm no I didn’t. We only spoke about Game of Thrones.”
Shortly after Kylie tweeted denying A-Rod’s claims, A-Rod responded to Kylie on social media.
He quote-tweeted Kylie’s tweet and adds: “OMG that’s right @KylieJenner. It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you.”
