The news of Mercy Johnson allegedly welcoming her newborn hit the internet as many took out time to congratulate the actress on the arrival of her baby.
Recall that the mother of three and hubby had announced earlier this year that they were expecting a new member to their family
“I’ve always wanted 4 kids…. always,” writes the actress. “However, after 3 kids, I thought I had retired from the baby-making business. So a while back, we found out we had a baby on the way.”
However, Mr Prince Okojie, husband of Mercy Johnson, has debunked the news on the internet that claimed that his wife had been delivered of their fourth child.
The news was first broken on social media platforms in the early hours of Sunday by a fan page of Mercy Johnson.
The fan page uploaded a photo of Mercy Johnson in the hospital during the birth of one her kids and captioned the photo, ” throwback”
A number of celebrities probably missed the caption and believed that the actress had put to bed. So, the massive sharing of the photo on social media began.
Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, an actor who is better known as Junior Pope, had taken to his Instagram page to share the photo, which he has since taken down.
Taking to his Instagram page, Mercy’s husband debunked the news with a photo of his still pregnant wife and her family.
He writes: “I woke up this morning to see countless missed calls and messages congratulating me on the arrival of our new baby,” he writes.
“We are so thankful for the show of love, but my wife @mercyjohnsonokojie has not put to bed yet, it is good news and I will certainly update you all when it happens.
“Thank you and God bless.”
