More good news from the Lagos State government as they announced that two more patients who have recovered from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection have been discharged to go back home.
Taking to his Instagram account, the Lagos state governor, Jide Sanwo-Olu, announced the discharge of two female patients from the isolation centres.
“Today, additional two female patients have recovered fully, having tested negative twice consecutively. They have been discharged from the facility, ” Sanwo-Olu writes on his official Instagram account.
According to the state governor, Lagos state has now discharged a total of 31 patients from its isolation centres.
He also went ahead to encourage Nigerians to keep adhering to the directives of the health officials. “I, therefore, enjoin citizens to continue to listen and obey health advisories issued by our health experts as they coordinate resources to beat COVID-19,” he writes.
