Nigeria has recorded 49 new cases of the novel Coronavirus infections in Nigeria, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
In a tweet sent late-night Saturday, the NCDC reported 23 cases in Lagos, 10 in Kano, 2 in Ogun, 12 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja and one each in Oyo and Ekiti.
The health agency also recorded an increase of two deaths, bringing total casualties to 19.
However, the number of discharged patients has risen by 7 to 166.
