Nigeria has recorded an additional 571 coronavirus cases according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC made the revelation during its nightly update on coronavirus in Nigeria via its Twitter handle on the 12th of July.
According to the Centre, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 32,558 confirmed The centre also stated that 13,447 COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2.
Meanwhile, 740 people have died from COVID-19 related complications. This means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigerians as of the night of Sunday, 12th July was 18,371.

Nigerians still don’t take this thing serious and it’s surprising that’s it’s not spread as other developed countries expected it would in Nigeria
These high numbers seem to become normal these days. Scary.
