In two separate announcements on Tuesday night, 14th April 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 30 new cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria.
In the first tweet shared by the NCDC, the body stated that 19 new Covid-19 cases were discovered in the following states: Lagos (14), FCT Abuja (2), Kano (1), Akwa Ibom (1) and Edo (1).
A second tweet by the NCDC stated that 11 new more Coronavirus infections were confirmed in Lagos.
The two announcements bring the total confirmed Covid-19 cases on Tuesday in Lagos and Nigeria on 14 April 2020 to 25 and 30 respectively.All Posts
Furthermore, the latest data from NCDC show that 11 people have died from Covid-19 in Nigeria while 99 people have regained their health and been discharged since reporting began.

Lagos remains the epicentre of Coronavirus in Nigeria with 214 confirmed Covid-19 diseases while Abuja is a distant second with 58 cases.
