In the nightly updates, the most recent of which was shared on Sunday, 26 July, they revealed that the total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country has risen by 555.
As usual, Lagos is the state with the highest number of confirmed cases with 156 people reported to be infected in the state in one day.
This number is followed by Kano, Ogun, and Plateau states. So far, 858 people have succumbed to the virus while 17374 people are still actively battling the virus.
This means that 23158 people have been successfully treated for the Coronavirus and have been discharged from the treatment centres.
