According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 553 new coronavirus infections were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 30th May 2020.
The NCDC reported this during its nightly coronavirus in Nigeria in Nigeria update.
According to the NCDC, the total number of coronavirus infections in Nigeria now stands at 9,855. Of this number, 273 have died from COVID-19, while 2,856 people have recovered and been discharged from isolation centres across the country. Hence, the active cases in the country now stand at 6,726.
