Yewande Oyediran was accused of perpetrating the murder in February 2016 following a domestic dispute with her husband.
Abuja court remands Maryam Sanda in prison over alleged murder of her husband
At the time of the murder, the victim, Lowo Oyediran Ajanaku, 38, was brutally stabbed to death at their home in Akobo estate home in Ibadan in the early hours of 2nd February 2016. The attacker, his wife was a lawyer and a Staff of Directorate of public prosecution at the Ministry of Justice, Ibadan, Oyo state.
The wife suffered dislocated shoulders, swollen head and bruised body and was taken to the hospital for treatment where she was later discharged and arrested by police.
She was charged to court and was found guilty of manslaughter following many trials of the case.

Maybe it self defence the article said sustained injury as well. So when a man beats his wife, he should be read for the consequences unfortunately in this case the man did not live to tell the story. Lesson for anyone reading the story, walk away it doesn’t make sense to start a fight whether at home or elsewhere. Walk away ?
