It was gathered that AVM Yahaya died on last night, according to the The Nation.
Muhammed was born to Yahaya Okwudo’s family of Ipole, Adoka extract (a descendant of Ijah, a popular women leader and rich trader in the pre-colonial era).
He rose to the rank of an AVN in the air force and was Minister of Transport during IBB’s regime.

AVM Yahaya was appointed the sole administrator, Federal Government Mass Transit Programme, 1988-1989; Minister Of Industries, 1989.
A source tells the newspaper that his corpse will arrive Makurdi today on an Air Force plane from where they will proceed to Adoka, Otukpo LGA of Benue State for burial.
