Commenters think she was in shock and that for her, that was a coping mechanism
A video of a lady involved in what could easily have been a fatal accident has surfaced on the internet. We don’t know exactly where or when the video was shot. In it, the unidentified lady can be seen to calmly reach into her handbag for her makeup kits and starting making up. How she was unhurt is a mystery as the car was a complete write-off.

Commenters have observed that the woman’s action might be explained as a coping mechanism to deal with the shock.
One Facebook commenter identifying as Iroha Alex said, “I can explain the phenomenon. It is called shock. The stress of the accident was too much for her body and mind to handle so it actually shuts down and diverts the mind to something else that is usually very comforting for you. It is a coping mechanism.
“It is similar to when you are very stressed, you begin to eat a lot.”
