This is not even a Halloween story but it sounds stranger as Miami Herald reported the arrest of a Florida man, Jerome Wright, who was found with a mutilated corpse in his bedroom.
The trouble had started when Della Wright, the suspect’s mother, noticed a foul smell in the house and contacted the police to come check it out.
The Miami-Dade police quickly responded to the call and they found the corpse of a woman in the closet, covered with sheets and with the leg sticking out.
The corpse had a large hole where the stomach had been and it was discovered that most of the internal organs were not there but later found in a waste bin around the house.
Jerome Wright claimed that he had not seen his girlfriend in five months despite his mother saying they stayed together often, the police have not found Deanna Clendinen (his girlfriend) yet.
He also denied killing the woman and told the police that it was not even a real corpse but a doll made with human flesh.
Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said that murder has not been ruled out of the investigation but they await results from the coroner. Jerome Wright has not yet been charged with any crime.
