Oluwatoyin had taken to Twitter to share how she was sexually assaulted by a black man who offered her a ride after a black lives matter protest.
She was last seen in a CCTV footage on 10 June in Tallahassee, Florida, her friends revealed, while calls for information about her were shared.
Unfortunately, the Police revealed that two women were found dead in the Tallahassee area of Florida and 19-year-old Toyin was one of them.
Before her death, she had taken to Twitter to reveal how a black man disguised as a man of God had offered her a ride after a protest. She had gone to his house, she said, after which he sexually assaulted her.
She also revealed that she had reported the case to the police, but she sadly went missing after.
A 49-year-old man has now been arrested in connection to her death. Aaron Glee Jr. was arrested on 14 June on charges of homicide-felony murder.
Police had arrived at 2100 block of Monday Road to follow up investigation on a missing person case but found Oluwatoyin and 75-year-old Victoria Sims, both victims of homicide.
Both women had reported missing before they were found by the police.
Still trying to wrap my head around this tragedy. What a wicked world.
This is horrible. To have suffered like this before she died. #JusticeForToyin
