Policeman Beats Up Soldier In Damaturu.

A Facebook user posted the picture of the drama that took place at an ATM yesterday. The queue was long as people under the scorching sun could not wait to do their transaction and leave the environment. On this queue was a uniformed Policeman awaiting his turn until a Soldier, also in his full military fatigue came up to the ATM and on seeing the crowd, went straight to stand behind the next person using the machine.

The people began protesting, although discreetly in fear of the soldier. But the policeman who had been on the queue for a while walked up to him and told him to go back and await his turn like everyone else. This infuriated the soldier and an argument ensued that escalated to talking with their fists, and unlike was expected, the policeman overpowered the soldier and beat him so brutally that he was taken to the hospital.

Reports and statements are awaited from the spokesperson of both the police and the army in the State as this kind of confrontation between the two Forces is not something to be taken lightly. People were already speculating on a reprisal attack, but we hope the judgment on the case is rendered by those in authority and not left to the whims of the junior officers.

Who do you think was wrong?
