World’s most expensive Leonardo Da Vinci painting goes missing

The world’s most expensive painting, a Leonardo Da Vinci painting titled Salvator Mundi has reportedly gone missing.

It was sold for £350 million last year to Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman. A growing concern was sparked since it was acquired by the crown prince through the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Professor Martin Kemp, who helped authenticate the painting, told The Times, “Nobody outside the immediate Arab hierarchy knows where it is.”

He also added about the 500-year-old painting: “I have no idea. The mystery of its location is, of course, disturbing.”
