50 Cent’s Power to get four spin-off series

Since the popular TV show, Power, ended, fans have taken to social media to share farewell messages.

However, the show isn’t completely over. ‘Power’ fans can rest easy as producer, 50 Cent has announced four more spinoffs of the popular show.

Four new spinoffs of the show are on their way, titled ‘Power Book II: Ghost,’ ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan,’ ‘Power Book IV: Influence,’ and ‘Power Book V: Force.’

The shows were announced with a teaser which aired during the final episode of the just concluded ‘Power’.

This news comes with an exciting accompaniment though: Mary J. Blige and Method Man will star in Power Book II: Ghost, which is set to premiere later this year.

‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ goes back to 50 Cent’s drug-dealer character Kanan Stark’s roots. Fans will remember that he was killed in Season 5.

‘Power Book IV: Influence’ will follow Larenz Tate’s governor-to-be character Rashad Tate as he explores the political world. The fifth chapter, ‘Power Book V: Force,’ will focus on Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora), Ghost’s partner-in-crime.

Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch told Deadline: “In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time.

“These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of ‘Power’s’ most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set ‘Power’ in a class of its own.”
