‘All I wish for you is untimely death’ – Angela Okorie recalls assassination attempt

Nigerian actress Angela Okorie has taken out time to reminisce the day she got shot and thanked God once again for life.

“If not for God’s protection who will take care of my son? Is it all those friend enemies, who I have helped in one way or the other, that tagged me karma. They were part of the plan (Aka adigi ekpuchi Owa),” the actress writes in her appreciation post.

According to Angela, she was attacked and shot by assassins, who kept on shooting for about 30 minutes. A total of 12 bullets were allegedly taken out of her body, 10 on the head and 2 close to her eyes.

Remembering the very dreadful day on International Women’s Day, the actress couldn’t help but thank God because according to her, no one would have been able to take care of her son as she would.

Angela took to her Instagram page to repost a picture quote that reads: “mothers aren’t afraid of afraid. Their greatest fear is leaving their child alone in this world, knowing that no one will love them like her.”

On seeing the quote, Angela said she understood what the post was talking about as she had experienced this first hand.

“The day I was shot, the first thing that came to my mind was my son. Then the people in the car with me (people’s children) how would I have explained to their parents? I was like will my family take care of him the way I do? Of course NO.

“I kept on asking him questions at that moment. Are you gonna let these people kill all of us with all I have done for you? At some point I said God if you let this happen, there is no God. 

“I am deeply sorry, Lord, for doubting that you were with me. He kept us alive not because I am holier than anyone but because his grace found us.

“All the people that ganged up and did this evil against me, you guys have been restless. Nah?

That is how it will be until you all are disgraced. Amen. All I wish for you is untimely death, and be removed from the surface of the earth. Amen.

“And pls don’t come and be telling me to forgive them. You touched the wrong one, period. You are in deep s--t, trust me.

“May all the innocent blood you have killed hunt you till you are disgraced and brought to book. I wish you all a very shameful death.

“They are shocked I know. Looking at their facial expressions now I don’t want to hear family will… Family will not ooooooo. Na property and money be first thing dem go dey drag like say na dem give you money start life. All they want is to keep giving them until you die. When you’re gone Issa different ball game. People you helped will start showing their real self.

“When one of my friend died eeee, when I got to the burial ground, I almost slapped some of her friends at the burial ground. This world is wicked. People are too demonic. If you see what I have seen you will understand what I meant by people are demonic. I will explain as time goes by. I don dey vex.
