Johnson stars as Dr Smolder Bravestone, looking “lean(ish) and mean” next to his fellow avatars, zoologist and weapons expert Franklin ‘Mouse’ Finbar (Kevin Hart), kickass martial-artist-slash-dance-fighter Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan), and the always offbeat Professor Sheldon Oberon (Jack Black).

Johnson also teases that “things may not be as they seem,” which really makes you wonder considering that the photo is set not among trees and vines and ferocious carnivores but someplace that looks more like a bar or club.
