For some people, an owambe is the way to go this weekend but for those who are undecided, here are fun places in Lagos where the tension will definitely be eased from your body. You’ll get home feeling light as a feather. Check them out below.
1. Nike Art Gallery
Go to an art gallery, let art calm you.
Nike art gallery is Nigeria’s leading art gallery and is owned by Nike Davies Okundaye. It is located at 2 Elegushi Beach Road in Lekki. An interesting thing to note is that there’s no entry fee!
See pictures below.
2. Hi Impact Planet
Hi Impact planet isn’t exactly in Lagos but its worth the distance. Boasting indor and outdoor games that can satisfy the entire family, Hi Impact planet is great even for kids. You can kick back, relax and even enjoy some bonding time with your kids (if you have any). Its located at km 12, Lagos – Ibadan Express way, Ibafo.
See pictures below.
3. Lekki Conservation Center (LCC)
The Lekki COnservation is the most visited nature reserve park in Nigeria. Located just after Chevron in Lekki, it is the center of what is considered the longest canopy walk in Africa. It has several other attractions like the 95-year-old tortoise and several games. The entry fee into the center is #1000 for adults and #200 for children. Acess to the canopy walk costs an extra #1000 but we’re told its worth it.

Of course you can ditch these places , kick back at home and read a book. What will you be doing this weekend?
