He has now announced that he is making remakes of both classic movies following the success of Living in Bondage which made an estimated 140 million Naira within the first few days of its release.
Rattle Snake is an Amaka Igwe production. It is interesting to note that Amaka Igwe was so prolific a filmmaker that Google honoured her with a Doodle on her birthday a few days ago, celebrating her achievements and her contribution to Nollywood.
He took to Instagram to announce that he has secured the rights to both movies – Rattle Snake and Glamour Girls. He also revealed the release dates for both films.
He wrote: “Just secured the rights to the Nollywood Classic “Rattle Snake”. Thus I’ve decided to take on only 2 Nollywood projects between now and Dec 2021. Rattle Snake: In Cinemas Nov/Dec 2020 Glamour Girls: In Cinemas Dec 2021”

Going by the success of Living in Bondage, we can estimate that both movies will be quite the delight to watch.
Living in Bondage takes place 27 years after the first movie and follows Nnamdi Nworie, the secret son of Andy Okeke’s late second wife. Nnamdi is ambitious but unable to secure a promising job five years after his graduation. He eventually follows the steps of his father and runs into a secret cult brotherhood called The Six.
Living in Bondage is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
