Floyd Mayweather is going back to the ring, but in Japan instead.

The 41-year-old boxer has announced that he will be fighting 20-year-old Japanese kick boxer Tenshin Nasukawa. The fight has been scheduled for New Year’s Eve with the 31st of December being the official date.

The undefeated boxer is fighting against equally undefeated Nasukawa in a match that has not been defined as a boxing, kickboxing or MMA match yet. Mayweather said details about the fight will be sorted out in coming weeks.

Mayweather said about his opponent that he is in great shape and he is impressed with his physique. Tenshin on the other hand said Mayweather was taller than he looks and said he believes he’ll be able to hit him when they fight.

Mayweather has an undefeated record of 50 – 0, while Tenshin has an undefeated record of 27 – 0.
