Just months after winning the interim UFC middleweight belt, Israel Adesanya is getting to take on the UFC middleweight champion, Robert “The Reaper” Whittaker.
About 60,000 people are expected to fill Marvel Stadium for UFC 243 in Melbourne, Australia, to watch the fighters slug it out a five-round championship bout at Docklands.
The MMA event, which is billed “the biggest fight in Australian history“, will unify the two belts and present the ultimate champion to the world.
The fight will take place on the 6th of October 2019.
Meanwhile, Israel’s got some serious sense of humour as shown by this Twitter thread:
Fucken tap ‘n gap kiieent!! ??????
