The Slovenian erupted for another massive 36 points, achieved a career-high 19 assists, and sealed it with 14 rebounds to clinch his 17th triple-double of the season and the 25th one of his career to inspire the Mavericks to a 136-132 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.
Dorian Finney-Smith, Kristaps Porzingis, Maxi Kleber, and Trey Burke also put in great assists on both ends of the court to help Dallas overturn a late seven-point deficit in regulation.
Dorian contributed 27 points and 11 rebounds while Porzingis added 26 points and 11 rebounds. Maxi Kleber scored 15 points, and Trey Burke had 10.
Brook Lopez of the Bucks recorded a season highs of 34 points and six three-pointers while their main man, Giannis Antetokounmpo added 34 points, 13 rebounds, and also succeeded in blocking five shots for the NBA-best Bucks.
Khris Middleton registered himself on the night with 21 points and 11 assists, and Eric Bledsoe had 15 points.
Dallas scored 16 straight points to open up a 128-119 lead in the final seven minutes of regulation and the first nine of overtime.
