This year, the 23-time Grand Slam champion is upping her fashion game with a special ensemble designed by Virgil Abloh for Nike. She will be wearing a black one-shoulder dress with Nike’s logo, accompanied by Virgil’s signature quotation graphic with a full tulle skirt. Her look will also consist of a customised pair of sneakers and an Abloh-designed jacket.
Speaking about the inspiration behind this dress, Virgil said: “What I love about tennis is the gracefulness. It’s an aggressive and powerful game, but it takes touch and finesse. So the dress is feminine but combines her aggression.”
