TBoss laments the state of the world and Coronavirus; misses going out

Big Brother Naija’s Tokunbo Idowu who is popularly known as TBoss has finally spoken on the compulsory lockdown conferred on the world by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is known as coronavirus.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that the whole entire world is doing the same things at the same exact time,” Tokunbo writes on her Instagram page.

Frankly speaking, the BBN’s reality star is actually correct about this. The recent condition the world is in is a frightening and uncertain one. All we can do is stay home, pray and adhere to the directives of the medical personnel.

Tboss took out time to encourage people who are getting bored from staying home to stay home and ensure they stay safe.

Right now, the safest place for everyone in the world is their various house, hence the lockdown order in different countries.

Read Tokunbo’s write-up below (lightly edited for clarity):

“2020 has been an interesting year, to say the least. We couldn’t wait to jump right into the year, which held so many dreams and prospects. Little did we know what was gonna jump right back at us.

Truth be told: We needed a break. The planet, our world as we know it was begging for a break (Have you noticed how green the trees are now- even though it’s still harmattan? Or how fresh the air is)?

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that the whole entire world is doing the same things at the same exact time which is staying at home & praying.

I do miss going out, I didn’t think that I would cos come on I was in the BBN house for 87 days but this is sooo different, I miss travelling, I miss going to buy fruits & vegetables, I miss hugs. Gosh, the things we took for granted?

I hope we’re using our time out wisely: Please don’t let anyone stress you to learn a new skill or whatever- some people just needed this time to get their minds right & their sleeping pattern corrected.

Let’s try to be better & a little kinder to each other. We’re all in this together.

And let’s continue praying for the people who are currently infected & fighting to stay alive as well as all the people who lost the battle & gone to eternal rest.

Our health workers are not forgotten. May God continue to keep us.

Stay home & Stay safe lovers. This too shall pass.
