As usual, New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art was the venue for the 2019 Met Gala event.
Formally called the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.

Obviously, you would expect the event to be about fashion as well, which is an art of some sort if you ask us. Both organisers and guests are well aware of that fact. In fact, the Met Gala is billed as the most exclusive and anticipated fashion event of the year. And only a select group of high-profile individuals gets the invite.
This year’s theme is Camp: Notes on Fashion. And boy, did guests try to live to that as they vie to outdo each other for the most memorable look. And leave us with a lot to gawk at and talk about.
