“A Quiet Place Part II”, “Lucifer Season 5” and other films/TV series to watch this weekend

As is custom, we have gathered the top 7 releases that are worth your time this weekend. Pick from the list below which ones suit your mood.

PS: there is something here for everyone.

1. A Quiet Place Part II

“Chilling”, “terrifying”, “fun”, and on and on, the praises for the horror film sequel keeps coming in. Since Paramount Pictures have only released it for screening at cinemas, this one will force you to leave your home. The verdict is that you won’t regret doing so.

2. Lucifer Season 5

There is no need to preach to the choir if you are a longtime viewer of this urban fantasy superhero television series. For people just discovering this Netflix show, it is going to change your perspective while entertaining you. Consider that the American Family Association (AFA) website One Million Moms launched a petition to prevent the series’ airing in 2015. Why? They said the series glorifies Satan as a caring, likeable person in human flesh. Already tempting? Join the millions of faithful fans and you can binge-watch the other seasons as well this weekend.

3. Cruella

We have written about 5 things to know about the villain of this 2021 film adapted from the legendary “One Hundred and One Dalmatians”. Now, you have the chance to see it. It is showing in some select cinemas and also available for streaming on Disney+ with Premier Access.
