John Travolta has put up the Maine mansion he shared with his late wife Kelly Preston for sale at a price of $5 million according to reports from the US.
The actor had lost his wife of 19 years, Kelly Preston, in July 2020 after two years of a prolonged battle with breast cancer. Travolta and Preston bought the mansion in Maine after they got married in 1991.
It has been described as an architectural masterpiece and was originally built in 1903 before the couple got architect and decorator Christopher Boshears to renovate it for them. The mansion boasts 42 rooms (22 of which are bedrooms) and was rumored to have been a retirement home for the Hollywood couple.

However, it appears that it is too big for John Travolta to fill up all alone and he has put it on the market. It occupies 48 acres of land on Islesboro, Maine, an exclusive island.
The couple shared three children, although they lost their first son Jett in 2009 at the age of 17. Travolta co-starred with his wife on the 1989 comedy film The Experts (before they married) and the 2018 biographical film Gotti.
