The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 34 new cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria. Another high number of cases recorded at a time since the outbreak of the novel virus in Nigeria.
According to the NCDC, 18 of the new cases were discovered in Lagos, 12 were discovered in Kano State, two discovered in Katsina State while one case was discovered in Delta and Niger states respectively.
With the new cases discovered, the total number of cases recorded in Nigeria hit 407.
A total number of 128 persons have recovered from the virus and have been discharged and sadly, 12 coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded so far.
The Federal Government is doing all within their power to ensure that the spread of the virus in Nigeria is curbed hence the extension of the lockdown order in Lagos and Ogun states with the Federal Capital Territory inclusive.
