Lagos is the epicentre of the Coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria with 731 cases recorded out of the country’s 1337 total.

The state has also recorded the highest number of deaths in the country. It has been on lockdown since 30 March, as ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari. With the lockdown timeline set to be gradually eased from Monday 4th May 2020.

According to the ministry of health in the state, one of the discharged patients was an Indian citizen.
